These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in Miss Goa International UK (“the Programme”). By applying or participating, you (“Participant”) agree to these Terms.
Miss Goa International UK is managed by J&D Entertainment Ltd, Navayah Films and Moqui Pictures, supporting opportunities for the Goan diaspora in the United Kingdom.
1. Eligibility
1.1 Participants must meet the eligibility criteria stated on the official website.
1.2 Participants CAN be of any Nationality, MUST be of Goan origin or ancestry.
1.3 Participants must be willing to travel to the Europe and the UK.
1.4 Participants must provide accurate and truthful information.
1.5 Participant must be a biological woman.
2. Application & Selection
2.1 Entry requires completion of the official submission form and payment of the participation fee.
2.2 The selection process includes online submissions and may include in-person rounds.
2.3 Submission does not guarantee selection.
2.4 The organisers’ decision is final.
3. Participation Fee
3.1 All participation fees are non-refundable.
3.2 Fees are used towards programme management, administration, and event costs.
3.3 Non-selection does not entitle the Participant to a refund.
3.4 Participants agree not to raise disputes or claims regarding non-selection.
4. Code of Conduct
Participants must:
- Behave respectfully and professionally
- Follow organiser instructions
- Avoid misconduct or reputational harm to the programme
- Not provide false information
Organisers may disqualify any Participant for misconduct.
5. Model Release & Media Consent
By participating, the Participant grants J&D Entertainment Ltd, Navayah Films and Moqui Pictures, and Miss Goa International UK:
5.1 An irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, unlimited licence to use photographs, videos, recordings, and likeness.
5.2 Rights to use media in social media, print, digital platforms, television, films, advertising, and publicity.
5.3 Rights to edit, adapt, publish, or reproduce content for promotional purposes.
5.4 Permission without additional compensation.
5.5 Permission for use without time limitation.
Participants waive any right to inspect or approve final materials.
6. Winner’s Management Contract
- The winning contestant will be offered a contract with J&D Entertainment Ltd and Buenos Muzik for a period of one year.
- This agreement ensures professional artist management services and access to career opportunities, including media, entertainment, and promotional engagements.
- By accepting the title, the winner agrees to enter into this management contract under the terms set by J&D Entertainment Ltd (info@jndentertainment.uk) and Buenos Muzik. (info@buenosmuzik.com)
- Titleholders must adhere to and comply with the Organisers’ brand policies and guidelines throughout their title year.
7. Intellectual Property
- All branding, logos, content, images, designs, and promotional materials remain the property of the Organisers.
- Participants may not copy, reproduce, alter, or use Organiser branding without prior written permission.
- The official logo must be used in its approved proportions and must not be stretched, distorted, or redesigned.
- The logo may be displayed in any colour, provided its shape, proportions, and design remain unchanged.
- The logo must not be combined with other logos, graphics, or text in a way that changes its appearance or identity.
- Participants may use official branding only for approved pageant-related promotional purposes.
- Any unauthorised commercial use of the pageant name, logo, title, sash, crown, or other official materials is prohibited.
- The Organisers reserve the right to require the removal or correction of any unauthorised or incorrect use of their branding.
8. Health & Safety
Participants confirm they are physically and mentally fit to participate. Organisers are not liable for health issues arising during participation.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by UK law:
- Organisers are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
- Organisers are not responsible for technical failures or submission issues
- Participation is at the Participant’s own risk
10. Data Protection
Personal data is processed according to the website Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.
11. Disqualification
Organisers reserve the right to disqualify Participants who:
- Breach these Terms and Brand Policy.
- Provide false information
- Engage in misconduct
12. Eligibility – Gender Requirement
Miss Goa International is a women’s pageant celebrating women of Goan heritage. Participation is open only to individuals who are female by birth and legally recognised as female. Applicants must meet this requirement at the time of application.
By applying, participants confirm that they meet these criteria. The organisers reserve the right to verify eligibility at any stage.
13. Changes to the Programme
Organisers may modify schedules, venues, format, or rules if necessary.
14. Brand Policy
- Representation: Miss Goa International represents biological women of Goan origin or ancestry, regardless of nationality.
- Terrorism & Extremism: Contestant / Titleholders and runners-up must not participate in, promote, support, or associate themselves with terrorism, violent extremism, or organisations that advocate violence or the suppression of women. Please Read
- Adult Entertainment: Contestant / Titleholders and runners-up must not participate in pornography, OnlyFans, or other adult entertainment activities that may conflict with the image and values of the Miss Goa International brand.
- Conduct & Brand Reputation: Contestant / Titleholders and runners-up must not engage in activities or public conduct that could reasonably cause serious reputational harm to the Miss Goa International brand or bring the title into significant disrepute.
- LGBTQ+ Organisations: Contestant / Titleholders and runners-up must not represent, act as ambassadors for, or use their official title to endorse LGBTQ+ organisations or organisations whose primary purpose is to promote LGBTQ+ identity / non-biological woman.
- Women’s Representation: Contestant / Titleholders and runners-up are expected to uphold the organisation’s stated principles regarding the representation, recognition, and empowerment of biological women.
- Public Demonstrations & Protests: Contestant / Titleholders and runners-up must not use their official title to promote or participate in unlawful, violent, vandalism or seriously disruptive protests or campaigns. Governments and international authorities have designated dozens of militant, extremist, and criminal organisations as terrorist or violent groups. Please Read
- Organisational Affiliation: Contestant / Titleholders and runners-up must not formally represent or endorse organisations whose stated objectives conflict with the eligibility, representation, or brand principles of Miss Goa International.
- Title Revocation: The Organisers reserve the right to disqualify the Contestant, withdraw or revoke a title where a titleholder or runner-up is found, following a fair review, to have materially breached this Brand Policy.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
